Karl Hanan – Associate Trainer (Glacial Training)
I was born at an early age in York, then after leaving school, I joined the Army as a medic but sadly left in 2000.
After that I was a bit of a lost so started a job with Stagecoach UK as a bus driver and H&S officer, However it was training that was my true passion so started working for G4S as a Police custody detention officer and instructor where I trained staff in Health and Safety, First-aid, Diversity and control and restraint to name a few.
I left to carry on my own studies at the University centre at Blackburn College studying my BA Public Service Management, whilst at university (I was very poor) I was working as a Mental Health support worker. Karl worked as a trainer for BLT before starting his own company Glacial Training in February of 2018. BLT and Glacial training work together to provide the staff of BLC high quality and bespoke training courses.
